INFO: Eva Bartlett is a Canadian activist and freelance journalist. Since November 2008 she has spent cumulatively 3 years in Gaza, volunteering with the International Solidarity Movement and documenting the various facets of life under siege.

During this talk, which was organised by individuals in Dublin as part of a wider speaking tour,  Eva outlined the different Israeli policies on Palestinians in Gaza, including preventing farmers from farming and fishermen from fishing and enforcing this restriction through lethal means. She talked about the layered aspects of the blockade on Gaza, including: electricity outages, export restrictions, sanitation crises, water contamination, medicine shortage, educational obstacles, and manufactured poverty. She also discussed the 2008/9 and 2012 Israeli attacks on Gaza.
