As part of PalFest Ireland 2016 festival, Irish poets read in solidarity with Palestine, and Palestinians living in Ireland read their favourite poems. The event took place on Friday 15th July 2016.

The five featured poets, who read from their own work as well as  Palestinian poems of their choice, were Moya Cannon, Seamus Cashman, Catherine Ann Cullen, John Ennis and Adam Wyeth. Fatin Al Tamimi, chair of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign and a photographer who has lived in Ireland since 1988, along with Palestinians Abdalluh Al Bayyari and Amany Yahia also read favourite poems from their literature.

The venue was Jerusalem restaurant at 77 Camden St, Dublin, run by acclaimed Palestinian-born chef Basil Ziadeh (thanks Basil! – http://www.jerusalemrestaurant.ie).
