Education in Palestine has been under systematic attack by the Israeli occupation.
This talk – held on Wednesday 14th October 2015 in the JM Synge Theatre in Trinity College Dublin – introduced the voices and experiences of Palestinian academics from Gaza.
It was introduced by Dr Iain Atack of the Irish School of Ecumenics, Trinity College Dublin and chaired by Dr. Ronit Lentin, Professor Emeritus of the Department of Sociology in TCD.
The speakers were:

Suha Shaheen, Lecturer in IT, Al Quds Open University, Gaza
Dr Ayman Shaheen, Political Science Al Azhar University, Gaza
