Speaking Tour: Eva Bartlett, Human Rights Activist, talks on Gaza
Eva is a Canadian activist and freelance journalist. Since November 2008 she has spent cumulatively 3 years in Gaza, volunteering with the International Solidarity Movement and documenting the various facets of life under siege. Recently, Gaza has entered one of the worst (Israeli siege-manufactured) humanitarian crises on earth.

During this talk Eva will outline the different Israeli policies on Palestinians in Gaza, including preventing farmers from farming and fishermen from fishing and enforcing this restriction through lethal means. She will talk on the layered aspects of the blockade on Gaza, including: electricity outages, export restrictions, sanitation crises, water contamination, medicine shortage, educational obstacles, and manufactured poverty. She will also discuss the 2008/9 and 2012 Israeli attacks on Gaza. This is a talk which you will not want to miss and there will also be footage direct from Gaza.
