Palestinian Freedom & Dignity Hunger Strike – Updated list of solidarity actions in Ireland

On Monday 17th April – Palestinian Prisoners’ Day – around 1,500 Palestinian political prisoners in Apartheid Israel’s jails began what they call the Freedom & Dignity Hunger Strike. The strike is calling for an end to the state of Israel’s practice of prisoner abuse, solitary confinement, torture, medical negligence and denial of rights guaranteed under international law—including the right to a fair trial and family visits.
