Israeli Apartheid Week 2017 – Event Guide (4 – 11 March)
Celebrating 13 years! Israeli Apartheid Week is an annual international series of events (including rallies, lectures, performances, films, multimedia displays and protest actions) held in cities and campuses across the globe.
Each year, Israeli Apartheid Week takes place across more than 150 universities and cities. It aims to raise awareness about Israel’s ongoing settler-colonial project and apartheid policies over the Palestinian people. IAW aims to raise awareness about Israel’s apartheid policies towards the Palestinians and to build support for the growing campaign of Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel. Please join us in making the the 13th Israeli Apartheid Week one of the biggest yet.
Once again the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign is proud to be hosting a series of events in Ireland.
Below you will find a full listing of events we have organised during this year’s Israeli Apartheid Week (plus some events not part of IAW but which may be of interest our supporters).

Saturday 4th March: #StopHP collusion in Israel’s human rights abuses – Information Stall (12:30 – 4pm, Henry Street, Dublin 1)
Sunday 5th March: Imaging Palestine – Photo Exhibition (The Pearse Centre, 27 Pearse Street, Dublin 2)
Sunday 5th March: Screening of ‘Salt of This Sea’ by Annemarie Jacir (The Pearse Centre, 27 Pearse Street, Dublin 2)
Sunday 5th March: Fairtrade talk with Palestinian speakers Bassema Barahemeh & Lamis Zamzam (7pm, St. Patrick’s Gateway Centre, Patrick St., Waterford City) – not part of IAW
Tuesday 7th March: ‘Nothing But Longing’ Panel Discussion (7pm, VOID Gallery, Patrick Street, Derry) – not part of IAW
Wednesday 8th March: Screening of ‘A World Not Ours’ & ‘Xenos’ by Mahdi Fleifel (Pery’s Hotel, Glentworth Street, Limerick)
Thursday 9th March: #StopHP collusion in Israel’s human rights abuses – Information Stall (5pm – 7pm, Henry Street, Dublin 1)
