In Pictures: Naksa Day lunchtime vigil at the Israeli Embassy

On Wednesday 5th June, the IPSC held a small symbolic vigil outside the Israeli Embassy in Dublin to commemorate Naksa Day. For Palestinians, Yawm an-Naksa – or ‘The Day of the Setback’ – marks the beginning of the Israeli military occupation of the West Bank and Gaza and annexation of East Jerusalem in 1967. Since that time Palestinians in the occupied territories have faced a criminal regime of ethnic cleansing, colonistaion and apartheid at the hands of the Israeli state.
