In Pictures: Moving galllery commemorates Al Nakba in Dublin

On Saturday 11 May 201 the IPSC in Dublin held a ‘Moving Gallery’ which saw people walk from St. Stephen’s Green to the Spire on O’Connell Street carrying large photographs from Al Nakba, Palestinian flags and a giant key – the symbol of Palestinian refugees’ right of return to their homeland.
The event commemorated what Palestinians call Nakba Day which marks the 65thanniversary of the Palestinian Nakba (‘Catastrophe’) which saw the expulsion of over 700,000 Palestinians, forcibly uprooted from their homeland in an act of ethnic cleansing that facilitated the foundation of the State of Israel.
