This seminar was hosted and organized by our Dutch friends in Diensten en Onderzoek Centrum Palestina (DocP), BDS Netherlands, The Rights Forum and Palestine Link.

Prof. John Dugard, former UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Palestine and South African professor of international law discusses: “The Crime of Apartheid: South Africa and Palestine”.

Prof. Virginia Tilley, political scientist, co-author of the UN ESCWA ‘Apartheid Report’, and editor of Beyond Occupation: Apartheid, Colonialism and International Law in the Occupied Palestinian Territories discusses: “The Relevance of the Concept of Apartheid to the Case of Israel and Palestine”.

Note: There were some slight technical difficulties during Prof. Dugard’s talk which led to him being cut off mid presentation. However he returned to finish after Prof. Tilley, and took part in the Q&A.)
