#Nakba75 Events Around Ireland

The Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign is organising events around Ireland to commemorate what Palestinians call Nakba Day which marks the 75th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba (‘Catastrophe’) which saw the expulsion of over 750,000 Palestinians, forcibly uprooted from their homeland in an act of ethnic cleansing that facilitated the foundation of the State of Israel.
However, the Nakba didn’t end in 1948 – the Ongoing Nakba continues today, with Israel’s new government of extremists vowing to complete the process their colonial antecedents began.
Join us at one of our event around the country to say ‘NO’ to Israeli Apartheid, occupation, war crimes and land theft!
