A public demonstration to protest against the Israeli attacks on Gaza and to express solidarity with the people of Palestine will take place outside Sligo’s G.P.O. on Saturday afternoon next the 19th of July at 3.00.p.m.

Ms Tracy Walsh of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign calling for public support for the demonstration said “The continued loss of life, the injuries and the destruction of infrastructure in Gaza at the hands of Israel is unacceptable and is clearly in breach of international humanitarian law. It’s important that the Irish public come out on the streets to show their support and solidarity with the people of Gaza.”
