Thursday 28th August will see the formal launch of a branch of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign in Portadown, County Armagh.

The launch takes place in Ashgrove Community Centre on the Garvaghy Road at 7.15pm and will include the screening of the international award-winning documentary film “Roadmap to Apartheid”.

Martin O’Quigley, the national chair of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC), will be speaking at the launch event and will also host a question and answer session on the night.

If the weather permits, the intention is also to launch dozens of lanterns into the night sky immediately after the event as a way of remembering all those who have lost their lives in Gaza.
