[Galway] Picnic Against Apartheid (Amnesty & IPSC)

The Galway branch of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) and Amnesty International Galway are coming together to host a ‘Picnic Against Apartheid’ at Eyre Square, Galway, on Saturday, September 10 (2 to 6pm).

PLEASE JOIN, SHARE AND INVITE YOUR FRIENDS ON FACEBOOK, THANKS!

Come along to hear testimonials from Palestinians and Irish people who have first hand experience of the reality of the system of apartheid in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.

Find out how hard life is for ordinary Palestinians living under occupation.

Find out why a report from Amnesty International designated Israel as an Apartheid state in February of this year and help us by signing the European Citizens Initiative (ECI) petition to prevent the EU from trading with illegal settlements in occupied territories.
A picnic needs food!

Please bring along some local and seasonal produce and remember to leave no trace by helping us to clean up during and after the event.

All welcome!

Tar chuig ár bpicnic sa Fhaiche Mhór agus léirigh do thacaíocht do mhuintir na Palaistíne. Tá fáilte roimh chách!
