[Enniscorthy] Exhibition: Imaging Palestine – A Decade of Solidarity 2006-2016 (Independent)
A unique photographic exhibition will take place in a very special Wexford venue from the 6th to the 8th of January 2017. The exhibition is “Imaging Palestine” and the venue is the Athenaeum in Enniscorthy.
Imaging Palestine is a collection of photographs taken by Fidelma Bonass during a number of “West Bank Trips” to Palestine over the past ten years. The trips have given over 400 “ordinary” people, mainly Irish people, some from Wexford, the opportunity of witnessing first-hand the humanity, dignity, resilience and resistance of the Palestinian people and their desire to live in peace – a just peace.
The exhibition will be launched at 8pm on Friday the 6th of January 2017 and will be open from 12pm to 5pm on Saturday the 7th January and from 2pm to 5pm on Sunday the 8th of January. Admission is free.
