Nakba is the Arabic word used to describe the events of 1948, when over 700,000 Palestinians were driven from their homes, civilians were massacred & hundreds of their villages deliberately destroyed. 67 years later they are still waiting to return. We will have a petition and leafleting action to mark this anniversary on from 12 noon on Thursday 15th May (Nakba Day) in O’Connell Square, Ennis.
