[Ennis] Irish solidarity with Palestine: A talk by activist Zoe Lawlor (IPSC)

On Tuesday 2nd December 2014 The Clare branch of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign will host a public lecture by Irish activist Zoe Lawlor. Zoe, a Teacher at the University of Limerick, who was one of 14 Irish people detained for ten days by Israeli authorities in 2011 after trying to breach Israel’s illegal naval blockade of Gaza. She has been one of the most active Irish campaigners for Palestinian rights and freedom for almost a decade. Zoe will outline her own experience and will speak about the importance of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanction Campaign as well as broader solidarity with Palestine.

The meeting will take place in the Temple Gate Hotel, The Square, Ennis, Co.Clare at 8pm. All welcome.
