[Dún Laoghaire] Raja Shehadeh in conversation with Richard Crowley (Mountains to Sea Festival)

Raj Shedadeh is Palestine’s leading writer. He is also a lawyer and the founder of the pioneering Palestinian human rights organisation Al-Haq. He is the author of several acclaimed books including Strangers in the House, A Rift in Time and winner of the 2008 Orwell Prize for Palestinian Walks.
Palestinian Walks combined an intimate account of six walks through the Palestinian landscape with a devastating analysis of the politics of land ownership. His most recent book Occupation Diaries was short-listed for this year’s Orwell Prize.
Join him in conversation with one of Ireland’s leading broadcasters Richard Crowley, who regularly reports from the Middle East.
