[Dublin] Tree Planting in memory of Rachel Corrie (South Dublin County Council)

On Thursday 8th March 2012, at 11.30AM in the Clondalkin area a tree will be planted in the memory of Rachel Corrie. Rachel Corrie was an American peace activist who was murdered by the Israeli Army in March 2003 while trying to protect the home of a Palestinian family from demolition in the Gaza Strip. It’s a small way to remember Rachel Corrie and the terrible injustice being done to the Palestinian people. The Mayor of South Dublin County Council, Caitriona Jones, will be in attendance. The tree planting ceremony will take place at the Arboretum Corcagh Park (beside the Pet Farm).  All Welcome.
