[Dublin] Table Quiz in Aid of Lajee Cultural Center Tour (LCITCG)
A Table Quiz raising funds to bring members of the Lajee Cultural Center of Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem, Palestine to Ireland this April.
The Quiz will take place n Cleary’s Pub, Amines Street, Dublin 1 on Thursday 27th February, and starts at 7.30pm SHARP! Tables of 4/5 – €10 per head
Lajee provides cultural, educational, social and developmental opportunities for young people in Aida Camp as well as other parts of the Bethlehem area.
In April, 12 young ‘Dabka Dancers’ and 4 leaders from Lajee Cultural Centre will visit Ireland to present their engaging and creative programme of dance, film, photography and talks. This tour will give the young people the opportunity to showcase their arts and culture, express their cultural identify and resistance and talk about their lives in Aida Refugee Camp in the West Bank. Obviously, the cost of bringing 16 people from Palestine to Ireland is huge so all help greatly appreciated.
Organised by the Lajee Center Ireland Tour Coordinating Group
