[Dublin] Sat 15 Nov: Protest against visit of Israeli military spokesperson, apologist for war crimes and apartheid (IPSC)
On Saturday 15th November, Israeli military spokesperson Jonathan Mosery will speak at a semi-public meeting in Dublin organised by the Ireland-Israel Friendship League. As Mosery is a representative of a rogue state that is a serial violator of human rights and international laws, and was a Defence Ministry spokesperson during Israel’s summer slaughter in Gaza, we feel that his presence in Dublin must be accompanied by a peaceful protest to highlight the role he plays in whitewashing Israel’s war crimes and apartheid policies.
Join our peaceful protest from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on Saturday 15th November, outside Brook’s Hotel, Drury Street, Dublin 2.
In an act of supreme and disgusting irony, the organisers are “giving a complimentary First Aid kit to every attendee” to highlight the pain they claim Israel suffers. This at a time when hospitals in Gaza are barely functioning as a result of the illegal Israeli siege of Gaza, and the numerous attacks on Gaza’s medics and medical facilities by Israeli occupation forces during the summer. Thus we see apologists for Israel’s criminal policies once again blame the victims.
Organised by the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign.
