[Dublin] Palestinian Prisoners’ Day information stall & display (IPSC)
On Saturday 16th April, the Dublin branch of the IPSC will hold an information stall on Grafton Street (near the Disney shop) from 12.30pm – 4.30pm. In addition to leafletting the public, we will have a number of displays highlighting the issue of the 7,000 Palestinian political prisoners in Apartheid Israel’s jails.
We invite you to join us for all or part of the day and help us to get the information to people – because the Irish media certainly aren’t reporting about the internment, torture, assault, ill treatment and psychological abuse of Palestinian prisoners by the Israeli occupation forces, or the locking up of 700 Palestinian children ever year, some as young as 11.
If you are interested in the issue of Palestinian political prisoners, we have organised a tour about the issue featuring Palestinian-Israeli lawyer Aouda Zbidat from the Addameer Palestinian prisoners’ rights organisation next week – more information is here.
