[Dublin] Palestinian Culture Night to mark International Day of Solidarity With the Palestinian People (IPSC)
To mark UN International Day of Solidarity With The Palestinian People 2019, the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign presents an evening dedicated to Palestinian culture at which you will hear live traditional Palestinian music, poetry and prose, sample Palestinian food, and even take part in some traditional dancing!
Our guest speaker for the evening is Palestinian cultural archivist Suhad Jarrar-Browne who will speak about the importance of culture as part of Palestinian sumud (steadfastness) and resistance in the face of Israel’s regime of occupation, colonisation and apartheid.
There will also be an exhibition of Palestinian cultural artifacts curated by Ms Jarrar-Browne.
This is sure to be a magical and unforgettable evening!
Free entry, all welcome, LIMITED spaces!
