[Dublin] #Nakba75 – March and ‘Moving Gallery’ for Palestine

On Saturday 13th May 2023 at 1pm, the IPSC will hold a ‘Moving Gallery’, where people will walk from Dublin’s St. Stephen’s Green (Grafton St entrance) to the Spire on O’Connell Street carrying large photographs from the ongoing Nakba and Palestinian flags, and a giant key symbolising the Palestinian right of return to their homeland denied them by the State of Israel for 75 years.

PLEASE JOIN & SHARE THE EVENT ON FACEBOOK, THANKS!

The event will take place to commemorate what Palestinians call Nakba Day which marks the 75th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba (‘Catastrophe’) which saw the expulsion of over 750,000 Palestinians, forcibly uprooted from their homeland in an act of ethnic cleansing that facilitated the foundation of the State of Israel.

However, the Nakba didn’t end in 1948 – the Ongoing Nakba continues today, with Israel’s new government of extremists vowing to complete the process their colonial antecedents began.

Join our march to say ‘NO’ to Israeli Apartheid, occupation, war crimes and land theft!
