Dublin – Lecture: Evictions and Forced Demolitions (Trocaire & ICAHD)
During August Trócaire is holding events in five cities with our guest speaker Itay Epshtain from partner organisation ‘The Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions’ (ICAHD). There will be an accompanying photo exhibition ‘Stolen Land in the West Bank’.
Itay was born in Israel and worked as the Executive Director of Amnesty International’s Israel Section before joining Trócaire partner ICAHD. He will speak about the ongoing plight of Palestinians facing eviction and the forced demolition of their homes in East Jerusalem and the West Bank.

DUBLIN Tuesday 2nd August 6.30-8.00pm, Odessa Club, 13 Dame Court, Dublin 2 There will also be an opportunity to meet Dearbhla Glynn, Director and winner of the ICCL’s 2010 Human Rights film Award after a screening of her documentary short:‘Gaza: Post Operation Cast Lead’. Also being launched each night will be Trócaire’s new film series: ‘Fifty People One Question’ also helmed by Dearbhla.
