[Dublin] BYOB Anti-Apartheid Eurovision Fundraiser for Aida Youth Center (SJP)
We’re not watching the Eurovision this year. We usually love the spectacle and the glamour but we won’t be part of normalising Israel’s apartheid regime.
Instead we’re hosting a night of music, speakers, performance and food in aid of Aida Youth Center. Come along for a good time for a great cause. Bring Your Own Booze.
Aida Youth Center is located in the Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem, Palestine. The youth center has been in operation since 1968, with its primary purpose being to provide a safe recreation space for the camp’s youth. The center is hugely important to the kids that use it; it’s a valuable resource for those impacted every day by the violence of the occupation.
Aida Youth Center is currently in danger of closing its doors due to lack of funds; their primary focus now is to save the existing education programs as a minimum.
Hosted by Students for Justice in Palestine – Dublin
