[Derry] Day of Action: Boycott Puma – Sponsor of Apartheid Israel (IPSC)

The Derry Branch of Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign will be joining with other IPSC  branches around the country taking part in the global Give Puma the Boot International Day of Action.

On the evening of Friday 25th October we will will be outside the Brandywell Stadium before Derry City FC’s match against Finn Harps, from 7pm to 7.45pm, to give out information leaflets to protest Puma’s continued sponsorship of the Football Association of Apartheid Israel. The Israeli FA allows teams based in Israel’s colonial settlements in occupied Palestine to be members, despite the illegality of these settlements. Puma claims to care about human rights, but its actions prove that it doesn’t. We need to send a message to Puma that their enabling of Israeli apartheid and colonialism comes with a cost – we’ll be asking local fans to boycott Puma!
