[Belfast] Public Meeting with journalist Harry Fear (Palestine Aid)

English journalist Harry Fear will give a talk in Belfast on Saturday February 16th. Harry was in Gaza during the attack carried out by Israel in November 2012.The talk will take place in the Belfast Unemployed Resource Centre in Donegall Street at 7pm.

This is a fantastic opportunity for people here interested in the Israeli/Palestinian narrative to hear first hand accounts of Israeli aggression on the ground in Gaza during Operation Pillar of Cloud. Its timing near to Israeli elections has led many commentators to conclude the war was fabricated to encourage a right wing government being returned to power. Harry will talk about the short term and indeed the long term effects of this latest attack on the besieged enclave of Gaza, its civilian population and civil administration. The Gaza strip is home to 1.8 million people, the same population as the north of Ireland, who are living in an area the size of the Ards Peninsula.
