[Belfast] Dying To Live – Palestinian Prisoners Conference (Friends of Palestine)
Irish Friends of Palestine (Belfast/Derry/Tyrone), in conjunction with our partners at Ufree Network a Palestinian Prisoners Association, will be hosting a conference on the current Palesttinian hungerstrike and condition of the prisoners in Israeli jails. The situation is deteriorating as we speak. Two hungerstrikers are now near death, time is of the essence. Please come out and support the prisoners and meet the people from UFree Network. The main event will be a chaired discussion on the prisoners and hungerstrike and we encourage people to come out and engage in the discussion. We will also hear From Irish solidarity groups on the work being done for Palestine in Ireland.

UFree Network members will be flying to Ireland to address the participants, among them will be Palestinians who will speak on the policies of Administrative Detention and the current condition of the hungerstriking prisoners and we will meet and hear from a former Palestinian prisoner who is flying into Belfast for this event. We have much more instore and the full speaker list will be posted very soon. UPDATE!!! we are told the main event will be filmed by a television crew to be shown in Palestine!!!
