[Dublin] Anti-Racism Day of Action – No to Pegida (ARN)
A counter-demonstration to the announcement of a rally by the Irish branch of Pegida – a viciously racist, Islamophobic and anti-Palestinian group – will occur in Dublin on 6th February at 1.30pm outside the GPO on O’Connell Street.
This is an opportunity to send a strong message that solidarity is stronger than hate. That Ireland is for all of the people who call it home.
Bring your voice onto to our streets to say no to those wishing to organise on racist platforms. Next Saturday is a day for organisations groups and individuals committed to justice and equality to stand in solidarity. When the far right March it is a threat to us all.
Let’s bring colour, noise creativity and community onto our streets. We are a silent majority no more.
