Every year the 29th November is celebrated as UN International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. This year, in the week leading up to it, the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign has organised a series of events focusing on traditional Palestinian culture and it’s role in resisting apartheid, occupation, and exile. Israeli Apartheid Week 2019 (23 Feb – 6 March)

The 15th Annual Israeli Apartheid Week will take place in Ireland between 23rd February and 6th March 2019. IAW is an international series of events that seeks to raise awareness about Israel’s apartheid regime over the Palestinian people and build support for the growing Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement. It now takes place in over 200 cities across the world, where events such as lectures, film screenings, direct action, cultural performances, postering, among many more help in grassroots organizing for effective solidarity with the Palestinian liberation struggle. PalFest Ireland Festival: 8-16 July 2016

PalFest Ireland festival is back! PalFest Ireland is a lively, positive and culturally rich arts festival which includes music, theatre, spoken word and visual arts events to promote a cultural connection between Ireland and Palestine, and to raise awareness about the Palestinian struggle for freedom, justice and equality. Hugely successful cultural evening in Dublin marks international day of solidarity with the Palestinian people

To mark the annual UN International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on Sunday 29th November 2015, the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC), The New Theatre and Connolly Books were proud and honoured to present a hugely successful Palestinian Culture Night in Dublin. The evening saw hundreds of people packing the two floors in the venue to experience an amazing evening of delicious food, magical music, moving poetry and sombre prose, culminating in a full house screening of ‘When I Saw You’, an award-winning drama film set in 1967, by Palestinian director Annemarie Jacir. Solidarity is Strength! A report from Israeli Apartheid Week 2015 in Ireland

Between 7th and 14th March 2015 the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign was proud to be a part of the 11th Israeli Apartheid Week, an annual international series of events including rallies, lectures, performances, films, multimedia displays and protest actions held in cities and campuses across the globe. This year saw over 200 cities taking part in 30 countries on all five continents. Two Palestinian films showing in Dublin cinemas in June

In great news for Palestinian cinema, two award winning Palestinian films are being screened in Dublin in early June. We’re excited that Palestinian cinema is finally getting some recognition here in Ireland.
