Please sign the following petition against the EU-Israel ACAA agreement which is being debated now in the European Parliament. The rejection of ACAA is important for the promotion of peace and justice. In its agreements with third countries, we believe that the EU should promote and respect human rights and fundamental values. The benefits brought by the adoption of such agreements should not be built on breaches of international law, unlawful or inequitable exploitation of resources and/or unfair and discriminatory practices. Report of Cork ‘Boycott Israeli Goods’ demo

On Saturday the 31st March members of the IPSC Cork branch engaged in a demonstration to promote the BDS campaign among the public. Members of the IPSC group met in Grand Parade at 1pm with microphones, Palestinian flags, a banner and distributed leaflets to members of the public. The leaflets show the most commonly sold Israeli products and brands and can be used as a reminder when shopping in super-markets. Joint Statement: The Kimberley Process conflict diamond review session must ban diamonds crafted in Israel

In advance of the upcoming review of the international diamond-regulatory system, the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS), a coalition of human rights organisations have called on the KPCS to impose a ban on diamonds crafted in Israel. The groups, which include the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign state that revenues from these diamonds fund Israeli war crimes and possible crimes against humanity. Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign, International Women’s Day Statement, Thursday 8th March 2012 To mark International Women’s Day 2012, the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign wishes to highlight the case of Palestinian political prisoner and hunger striker Hana’ Shalabi. 29-year-old Hana’ has been on hunger strike for 22 days. She is protesting against her internment without trial, and brutal and degrading treatment at the hands of the Israeli state. Report of London BDS action: No Valentine for Israeli blood diamonds

On Saturday 4 February 2012, members of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign joined London human rights campaigners in Hatton Garden, the centre of London’s jewellery trade, to raise awareness among shoppers and jewellers about the continuing sale of Israeli blood diamonds. Note: A similar action is taking place in Dublin this weekend on Saturday 11th February. See here for details. Vigil in solidarity with Palestinian hunger striker Khader Adnan

On Monday 13th February 2012, the Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign held a four hour day-time vigil outside the Israel Embassy in Dublin in solidarity with Palestinian political prisoner and hunger striker Khader Adnan. This action took place on the 58th day of his hunger strike against his administrative detention (internment without trial) by, and physical abuse suffered at the hands of, the Israeli state. Khader was detained on 18th December 2012 and put in prison for four months (despite not being charged with anything). Report of IPSC protest against Israeli parliamentary visit to Ireland

On the evening of Wednesday 18th January, the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) held a protest against an official Israeli parliamentary visit to the Oireachtas. This visit of two Israeli Knesset [Parliament] members and their entourage was kept secret by the Irish state until the evening before the two MKs arrived. With less than 12 hours notice, the IPSC organised a protest of over 40 pro-Palestine activists outside the gates of the Dail to coincide with the MKs’ official meeting with the Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade and Tanaiste, Eamon Gilmore TD.
