The Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) has welcomed the publication of the latest report by Michael Lynk, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of Human Rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, which states clearly that “Israel has imposed upon Palestine an apartheid reality in a post-apartheid world.” The Special Rapporteur’s report now joins others by Al Haq, Yesh Din, B’Tselem, Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International in concluding that Israel is guilty of the crime against humanity of Apartheid. Amnesty condemns Israeli Apartheid and calls for international action to end oppression of Palestinians

The Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign has praised today’s publication of a detailed new report by Amnesty International showing that Israel is committing the crime against humanity of Apartheid against the Palestinian people. The 211 page report, entitled ‘Israel’s Apartheid Against Palestinians: Cruel System of Domination and Crime Against Humanity’, is the latest in a long line of human rights organisations levelling similar charges against Israel. The Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) unreservedly condemns a military order issued last week by the Israeli Ministry of Defence that aims to criminalise and ban six prominent, highly respected and effective Palestinian human rights organisations. Israel raids Palestinian children’s NGO; Garda & PSNI collaboration with perpetrators must end

In the early hours of Thursday 29th July 2021, Israeli occupation forces raided the headquarters of Defence for Children International – Palestine, confiscating computers, laptops, hard-drives and confidential legal files related to child prisoners. The raid was conducted Israel’s notorious Border Police unit, which operates under the command of the Ministry of Public Security. 450+ Palestinian, Irish and International groups call on the UN to investigate Israeli apartheid

In a statement issued yesterday, more than 450 Palestinian and international organisations have called on the United Nations General Assembly to investigate Israel for committing the Crime of Apartheid.
