Israeli Apartheid Week (actually two weeks and a bit) is an annual international series of events held across the globe. The aim is to educate people about the nature of Israeli apartheid against the Palestinian people and to build the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement locally and globally. Last year, IAW took place in over 50 cities across the globe and this year the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign is proud to be hosting a series of events in Dublin and elsewhere.
IAW 2011 takes place following two years of incredible successes for the BDS movement on the global level. Lectures, films, and actions will highlight the many injustices that continue to make BDS so crucial in the struggle against apartheid and for justice, equality, and peace.
Below you will find a full listing of events taking place around Ireland during this year's IAW - some organised by the IPSC, some organised by others. We hope you will be able to make it along to some of them.
