[Galway] Palestinian Dabka & Irish Trad Night with Lajee Dance Troupe, Roisin Elsafty and friends (LCTI)

A once in a lifetime a concert will take place in Monroe’s Live, 14 Upper Dominick Street, Galway on Tuesday 15th April. It will be MCed by one of Ireland’s foremost writers and activists, Margaretta D’Arcy. The Lajee Palestinian Dabka Dance Troupe from Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem will be honoured guests at this special event which celebrates the 2014 UN Year of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.
It will feature some of Ireland’s best known trad and folk musicians, including Róisín Elsafty, Gearóid & Patrick Deveaney, Neansaí Ní Choistealbha, Anne Rynne, Davoc Rynne & Johnny Hehir, Fred Johnston, Lillis Ó Laoire, Proinsias Ó hIarnáin, Sonaí Choilm Learaí, Róisín Cherif, Sharon Murphy and Treasa Ní Cheannabháin.
The will also be a photo exhibition from 7pm, and the concert starts at 8pm.
