The global jewellery industry is the single most important funding artery for the Israeli regime and its military forces. Diamonds account for 30% of Israel’s exports and are a major source of revenue for the Israeli military.

The out of control regime in Israel is on the rampage again in Gaza. Children are the principle victims of this monstrous regime. Netanyahu said “No international pressure will prevent us from acting with all power,” Just as before, no one will hold the war criminals to account.

Israel is one of the world’s main suppliers of cut and polished diamonds. The jewellery industry allows diamonds from Israel that are funding war crimes and crimes against humanity to be labelled conflict free. Consumers are being conned and lied to by jewellers and other vested interests that have restricted the scope of human rights regulations to rough diamonds thus allowing cut and polished blood diamonds to evade scrutiny.
Everyone concerned about human rights must stand up and act where our governments have failed to. The jewellery industry must be held to account for facilitating the trade in Israeli blood diamonds which fund a regime that has no regard for international laws or the human rights of the Palestinian people it has dispossessed and subjugated for over sixty years.
