‘Light up the Lough’ has been a local grouping who have came together in support of the people of Palestine.

We plan to hold a lantern release from across Carlingford Lough on Friday 8 August at 9.45pm in Warrenpoint, Rostrevor, Greencastle, Omeath, Carlingford and Greenore.

What we ask is that the people of the area come along and light a lantern in support of peace, change and hope.

We ask that those attending, while keeping in mind the environmental impact, bring lanterns, candles and flags. We will have around 60 to launch from Warrenpoint and hope to be able to accommodate everyone with a release.
