Structure of the IPSC

The IPSC is comprised of a group of national branches, and a national committee which is the organisation's executive decision making body. The IPSC hires a part time coordinator to run its office and coordinate volunteer activities.

National Committee

The national committee is responsible for:

• Strategic direction of the organisation
• Agreeing organisational priorities
• Agreeing allocation of financial resources to various campaigns
• Supervising and managing staff
• Developing organisational policy, both internal and on campaign policy (for example, internal could be guidelines for branches, campaign policy could be position on 1 / 2 state solution)
• Agreeing all policies and procedures of the IPSC.

The national committee comprises of : 

• Standard officer roles (Chair, Secretary, Treasurer)
• Campaign officer / convenor roles
• Branch representatives – all branches have the right to send a representative, but are not obliged to
